Antique Footstool Restored

Who doesn’t love a footstool to put your feet up on after a long hard day.

Antique Foot Stool

The wooden base of the stool was restored and top finished with a warwick fabric.  I couldn’t be happier with the finish look – hope you like it too.

Underneath was a beautiful, well constructed chair,

needing some tender loving care.

I have been wanting to use a combination of wool and handprinted fabric by ‘cloth’ for some

time and thought this is my chance.

The rose print looks very blue in the picture but is in fact

a blue black – more black than blue. On the cushion I have done one side in just the ‘cloth’ fabric

and the other in a combination of the wool fabric and the ‘cloth ‘fabric for interest. This piece is up

for sale and looking for a new home. Please send me a note if interested and live in Sydney.(pick up only)

Parker Knoll Chair

Old Parker Knoll Chair – I managed to come across 4 old Parker Knoll Chairs. The frames are in fantastic condition just needing some tender loving care.

I have started the first chair – stripping off the old material and padding. Stay watching for the new look parker knoll chair.

Revamp an old bedroom chair

A friends daughter purchased an old bedroom chair at auction. She managed to look past the old dated fabric to a chair that would look fab updated in an interesting fabric.

Was I interested in doing this project ????? – of course I was.IMG_1396IMG_1496

The first step was stripping all the fabric, staples, old foam – this takes a lot longer than you think.

The legs were scratched so they were given a light sand, stained and were hand polished.IMG_1477 IMG_1479

A very satisfiying job and a happy customer.
